The devoted husband of the late Elsie, loving father to Steven, Joanne and Anita, he also a beloved father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Friends, please gather on Friday, May 26 at 2:15 p.m. m. for service and cremation at Tynemouth Crematorium. Please only family flowers, on-demand donations for cancer research, for which a donation box is available on the service.

Elizabeth JOVEN (FUNCTION)

(BORN) Peacefully at Cramlington Hospital on 4th May 2023 at the age of 89. Elizabeth (Betty). devoted wife and soul mate to the late William (Bill). Loving mother of Lorna and the late Gary. Tom's loving mother-in-law and adoring grandmother to Charlotte and Thomas. We will always honor the special bond that unites us. Funeral service at Bill Quay Community Church on Tuesday, May 30 at 12:00 p.m. m., followed by cremation at South Shields Crematorium at 1:15 p.m. m. Afterwards, all are welcome to The Little Haven, South Shields. Family flowers only on request. Donations for cancer research or the British Heart Foundation can be collected after the service in the church crematorium. He will be greatly missed by all family and friends.

Mavis ZUR (née Cartman)

(née Cartman) (Byker Hall, formerly Spital Tongues) passed away peacefully on April 28, 2023 at the age of 92. Mavis, Robert's dear aunt. Reunited with her late brother Brian. Mavis will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Private burial will take place at West Road Crematorium. If you wish, donations can be made directly to the Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter.
